1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy covers how TopClass (operated by TopClass Cleaning) handles the personal data of users of the TopClass customer app, the TopClass Partner app, and the website at app.topclasscleaning.bg. Read this policy before using our services. By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps. We keep this policy updated. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email before those changes take effect.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to three groups:

  • Customers — people who download the TopClass app to book home cleaning, car wash, or related services
  • Partners — TopClass employees who use the TopClass Partner app to receive and manage job assignments
  • Website visitors — anyone browsing app.topclasscleaning.bg

3. What Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Give Us

  • Full name and contact details (email address, phone number)
  • Home or service address
  • Payment information — processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store full card details on our servers
  • Account credentials
  • Service preferences, booking notes, and special instructions
  • Communications you send us through the app or support channels

3.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device type, operating system, and app version
  • IP address and general network information
  • App usage data — screens visited, features used, booking flow interactions
  • Crash reports and error logs

3.3 Location Information

Location data is central to how TopClass works. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

  • Customer location — we collect your location when you enter a service address or allow location access, so we can dispatch the right partner to you and calculate service availability
  • Partner foreground location — when a partner opens the app and accepts a job, we collect their location to enable routing and dispatch
  • Partner background location — once a partner has an active job, we continue collecting their location even when the Partner app is not open in the foreground. This is how we power the live tracking feature that lets customers see their partner's real-time position on a map as they travel to the service address

4. How We Use Your Information

We don't sell your personal data. We don't use it for advertising on other platforms. Your data is used to run the service you signed up for.

  • Process and manage your bookings from confirmation through completion
  • Dispatch partners to service addresses and enable live tracking
  • Send booking confirmations, status updates, and arrival notifications
  • Handle payments and issue receipts
  • Respond to support requests and resolve disputes
  • Improve the app based on usage patterns and feedback
  • Detect fraud and protect the security of user accounts
  • Meet legal obligations where applicable

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We share data only where necessary to operate the service:

  • Partners — customers' service address and booking details are shared with the assigned partner so they can complete the job. Partners do not receive payment information or unrelated personal data
  • Payment processors — your payment details go through our third-party payment provider. We do not see or store full card numbers
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — our servers and databases are hosted on third-party cloud platforms (currently AWS). Your data is stored securely within these systems
  • Analytics tools — we may use anonymised or aggregated usage data to understand how the app is used. This does not identify individual users
  • Legal requirements — we will disclose data if required to do so by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Active account data is retained for as long as your account exists
  • Booking history is kept for up to 3 years for service records and dispute resolution
  • Location data from completed jobs is retained for a maximum of 90 days, then deleted
  • Payment records are kept for the period required by financial regulations
  • If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law

7. Security

We use HTTPS for all data transmission, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, and role-based access controls so only necessary personnel can access user data. No system is completely immune to breaches. If a security incident occurs that affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent for location access through your device settings at any time (note: this may limit app functionality)
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

9. Children

TopClass is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The app may contain links to external websites or integrate with third-party services (Google Maps, payment providers). Once you leave our app, this policy no longer applies. We're not responsible for how those services handle your data.

11. Additional Notes for Partners

If you use the TopClass Partner app as an employee:

  • Your location is collected during active jobs, including in the background, as described in Section 3.3
  • Your job performance data (completed jobs, timestamps, customer ratings) is visible to TopClass operations staff
  • This data is used for scheduling, quality management, and payroll — not shared externally
  • You have the right to access your own performance records by contacting your operations manager

12. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date at the top of this document reflects when it was last changed. For significant changes, we'll send a notification through the app before they take effect. Continuing to use TopClass after a policy update means you accept the revised terms.
